Restaurant of the Hotel “Höhenwirt” In our times, marked by the “event gastronomy” with its “XXL” dishes, we want to distinguish ourselves by transforming simple things into exceptional ones. Together with our chef, who joined us recently, we have elaborated new creations, having preserved, however, the proven “recipes” of the past.
We have sought to give a new sense to the old motto “Quality instead of quantity”. Thus we have entirely revised our standards and we are now proud to present a mixture combining the traditional “Alpine” cuisine and light dishes, partly with a Mediterranean touch. For the dishes of our “legendary” steak menu, we use, for example, exclusively meat of the highest quality from well-chosen suppliers.
The attribute “house made” can be applied to any of our dishes. So come and savour them. We are looking forward to welcoming you as our demanding guest and to serve you our culinary delicacies. Spend some carefree moments in a cosy ambience while savouring Algovian specialities and enjoying the splendid view over the marvellous landscape of Algovia.
In our rustic and cosy restaurant with about 80 places as well as on the wonderful panorama terrace we serve you lunch, coffee and cake or a hearty snack as well as, of course, a fine dinner.
